Upon graduating from PUC, David worked with a small real estate company for more than a decade before starting his own real estate consulting firm, DLH Realty Capital, based in Healdsburg.  Since starting his own small business more than a decade ago, he has helped small businesses navigate the complexities of the commercial real estate loan process, making the process easier to navigate and providing clarity with the regulatory process at the local, state and federal level.

David’s community involvement includes service as Past President of the Active 20-30 Club #50, an organization that helps at-risk and underprivileged youth in our community; David helped the non-profit organization take over the annual 4th of July Fireworks Show at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds in partnership with local police and firefighting organizations in 2009, when the City of Santa Rosa considered suspending the fireworks show given its budgetary crisis during the Great Recession…David took the lead in saving the fireworks show and helping keep the show accessible for all Sonoma County residents, and the non-profit continues to operate the fireworks show to this day.

David is also a member of the Healdsburg Chamber of Commerce, Sonoma County Alliance and Bay Area Mortgage Association.

David and his wife, Laurie, a Board Member at Live Oak Preschool, live in Parkland Farms where they are raising their two preschool age children.  David and Laurie share their passion for giving back to the community and strive to continue to improve the quality of life for the next generation of Healdsburg residents.
