Healdsburg Avenue Improvement Study

H00_HBA_MAPS_BINDER_Page_06ealdsburg Avenue is the City's predominant north/south arterial connecting residential areas with shopping centers, places of employment, recreational and commerce areas, public facilities and the downtown/Plaza Park area. The roadway served in place of Highway 101 until the late 1950s, when the Healdsburg bypass was constructed.

This study will analyze Healdsburg Avenue from Powell Avenue to the northern city limits for the potential to implement "Complete Streets" concepts and other streetscape enhancements.

Complete Streets are planned, designed, operated and maintained to provide safe and convenient mobility for all users, including pedestrians, bicyclist, transit vehicles, persons with disabilities, seniors, children, youth, families, motorists, and commercial vehicles.
