Jim Wood, Mayor
Jim Wood was elected to the City Council in 2006. He is a former member of the Healdsburg Planning Commission (2002-2006). Jim is a family practice dentist and has maintained a practice in Cloverdale since 1987.
In addition, he is a forensic dental consultant for Sonoma, Lake, and Mendocino counties as well as the California Department of Justice. Jim and his wife Jane have lived in Healdsburg for 17 years. They have a son, two dogs and a cat.
Tom Chambers, Vice Mayor
Tom and his family have lived in Healdsburg for 23 years. He served on the Council from 1992-1996 but did not seek reelection due to the obligations of a young family. Now that two of his three children are in college, he ran and was elected to the Council in 2008. He is COO for Codding Steel Frame Solutions, a manufacturing firm in Rohnert Park.
Mike McGuire, Councilmember
Mike was elected to the Healdsburg City Council in 2004 serving his first year as Vice Mayor and as the Mayor of Healdsburg in 2006.
In his first two years on the Council, Mike has made it a priority to increase affordable housing opportunities for working families, expand park and recreational programs for residents of all ages, begin the restoration of Foss Creek, open up the County’s first Job Labor Center and ensure the Police and Fire Departments have the resources they need to keep residents safe.

Eric Ziedrich, Councilmember
Eric Ziedrich, a 25 year resident of Healdsburg, was re-elected to the City Council in 2006 after serving from 1996 -2000, his last year as Mayor. He and his wife Janet have raised their three daughters in Healdsburg, and have owned and operated Healdsburg Lumber Company since 1985.
