: Plot rental available for Healdsburg residents, water for irrigation supplied, 30 plots each measuring 25' x 30", community bulletin board, compost area, common meeting area, storage shed, and demonstrations by Master Gardeners. Call 431-3301 for rental information.



Baribieri Play StructureBARBIERI BROTHERS PARK–(325 Bridle Path) Walking paths, children’s playground, turf, sport court with ½ basketball court, Ramada with picnic tables, and park benches. 3.5 Acres

BYRON GIBBS PARK – (1520 Prentice Dr.) Children’s playground, turf, picnic tables, restrooms. 2.5 Acres.

 


Carson Warner SkateparkCARSON WARNER MEMORIAL SKATEPARK (1100 Grove Street). Skateboards and in-line skating, no bicycles allowed. Open 8:00 am-5:00 pm Winter, 8:00 am-7:00 pm Summer. (There is no adult supervision at the park).


FITCH MOUNTAIN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL – (K-3) 565 Sanns Lane, 431-3135. Athletic field, children’s playground. 2.8 Acres of athletic turf.

Foss Creek Path-TuberosityFOSS CREEK PATHWAY – Paved lighted walking path, benches, public art. (An audio tour package is availble free of charge at the Parks and Recreation Department main office.)


 

GIORGI PARK – (540 University St.) Children’s playground, two lighted tennis courts, parking area, bocce ball courts, restrooms, picnic tables and horseshoe pits. 3 Acres.
Newly rennovated in 2009.

HEALDSBURG ELEMENTARY SCHOOL – (K-6) 400 First Street, 431-3440. Two children’s playgrounds, athletic field. 3 Acres of athletic turf.

HEALDSBURG COMMUNITY CENTER AT FOSS CREEK SCHOOL – 1557 Healdsburg Avenue, Basketball court, playground, and athletic field. 3.9 Acres of athletic turf.

HEALDSBURG HIGH SCHOOL – (Monte Vista Avenue and University Street). Two lighted multipurpose fields, lighted tennis courts, all weather track. 11 Acres

HEALDSBURG JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL – 315 Grant Street, 431-3410. Walking path and athletic field. 3.5 Acres athletic turf.

Plaza Park GazeboHEALDSBURG PLAZA – (Matheson Street and Healdsburg Avenue) Turf, trees, park benches and gazebo. A focal point of the downtown area: festivals, music and special events. 1 Acre. 

  

Pool&LifeguardHEALSBURG SWIM CENTER – (360 Monte Vista Ave). Two heated pools; 25 meter pool w/diving board and 20’ x 30’ wading pool, dressing rooms, snack bar and turf area.

VILLA CHANTICLEER COMPLEX
– (1248 N. Fitch Mtn Rd) Operated by the Parks and Recreation Department, these unique City owned buildings are available for public and private groups to rent for weddings, events, meetings and conferences. Call 431-3303 for information.

o Main Villa – The 11,000 square foot Villa is an ideal setting for a large business meeting, community fundraiser, or wedding reception. The capacity is 632.
o Villa Annex – 36’ x 64’ building used for various recreation classes with 150 seating capacity. Can accommodate up to 200 for meetings.
o Outdoor Event Garden – Gazebo, green turf, walkways, landscaping.
o Group Picnic Area – can accommodate up to 300.
o Villa Meeting Room – A 20’ x 32’ meeting room. This room can easily accommodate 30 people.
o 1-1/2 acre enclosed Dog Park with water and shade. Plenty of parking. (See detailed information below under Dog Parks).
o Children’s playground.
o Nature trail.
o Open dawn to dusk.

WestPlazaParkfromRoseGarden-240x180WEST PLAZA PARK – (North & Matheson) Rose Garden, turf, benches along Foss Creek, and downtown parking. Site of the Saturday morning Healdsburg Farmers Market (May-Nov.) 1.5 Acres.



DOG PARKS
The Healdsburg Dog Park Committee, a group of community volunteers, worked with the city over a three year period to create two off leash areas and improved leash laws. The funds to create these two dog parks on city property were raised through the Healdsburg Dog Park Fund at the Community Foundation Sonoma County. All donations to the "Dog Park Fund" are tax deductible.

Badger Dog Park2-240x180Badger Dog Park – This 50' by 200' area at Badger Park is best for smaller and more passive dogs. It has several benches, a picnic table under a large oak and a small patch of grass. This park is completely fenced, has water and an information kiosk. It is open from 6 a.m. until sunset.
Directions to Badger Dog Park: from Healdsburg Avenue, go East on Matheson. Turn right on Heron Drive, then right into Badger Park at the bottom of the hill. Look for the dog park on your left.

Villa Dog Park-240x180Villa Chanticleer Dog Park – This is a beautiful 1.5 acre natural setting including a large open area and an oak glen. It is tucked against Fitch Mountain, next to a children’s playground, behind the Villa Chanticleer’s lower parking lot. This park is completely fenced and has water, a shade structure, several picnic tables and an improved path. There is also an information kiosk.
Directions to the Villa Dog Park: from Healdsburg Avenue, go East on Powell, stay on Powell as it goes into the Fitch Mountain area. Veer right when you see the sign for The Villa Chanticleer. Look for the dog park sign on your left. Turn and drive down the hill.
