Summer All-Around, Sports & Aquatics Camps for Preschoolers & Youth

SIZZLING SUMMER CAMPS (6-12 year olds)

Have a fun & enriching summer participating in our Sizzlin' Summer Camps for 6 - 12 year olds! We have relocated our exciting weekly summer camp to the Healdsburg Community Center at Foss Creek School giving campers more space to play and have fun! We have access to our own basketball courts, play structure, kitchen for cooking, garden area, dance studio, baseball field and gym.

Also new this year is a Camp Van that will allow us to take campers on field trips including hiking at Healdsburg Ridge and exploring local parks, the movies and much more! The van will also be used to transport campers Monday, Wednesday & Friday afternoons to the Healdsburg Swim Center for an afternoon of swimming & aquatics activities.

Participants will be spilt into appropriate age groups 6-8 yrs and 9-12 yrs to insure a safe & enjoyable experience for all campers.

Camp Hours & Fees

Full Day Camp                    M-F 9:00 am-4:00 pm           Fee: $125
Half Day Camp (Morning)     M-F 9:00 am-12:30 pm         Fee: $ 70
Half Day Camp (Afternoon)  M-F 12:30 pm–4:00 pm        Fee: $ 70
Extended Day Camp           M-F 8:00 am–5:30 pm.         Fee: $190

Camp fee includes pool entry plus morning and afternoon snacks.

Please note: Effective July 1, 2010 refunds will not be issued for missed camp days.

ANIMAL PLANET
Explore every kind of animal from every generation, Jurassic to today! A visit from some exotic animals should be expected!

TO INFINITY & BEYOND!
Explore the stars as we jump from galaxy to galaxy and learn about life on the moon. Campers will create their own planets and avatars, learn about constellations and find out what life is really like among the stars.

BORN TO BE A STAR!
Think you’re the next Hannah Montana or Jonas Brother? Come to camp and find out! Campers will make their own rock band, perform in skits and have a talent show at the end of the week.

MYTH BUSTERS INVENTORS WORKSHOP
Got an urban legend that needs to be tested? Join us to separate fact from fiction as we perform science experiments and have fun.

HARRY POTTER – SPELLS, POTIONS & MAGIC!
Are you a Muggle, Mudblood or full blown wizard? Find out at our Hogwarts School. We will make potions, teach magic tricks and enjoy a game of Quidditch. Do you have what it takes to win the House Cup?

AROUND THE WORLD IN 5 DAYS
Travel around the world just like Phileas Fogg. Visit exotic lands such as China, India, Scotland, France and the USA, taste the food, meet the people and have rip roaring time!

STAR WARDS JEDI ACADEMY
“Obi Wan has taught you well…but you are not a Jedi yet!” Come finish your training at the Jedi Academy. Learn to master a light saber, Jedi mind tricks and defeat Darth Vader.

Each day will reveal a new clue to the “Summer Camp Mystery”. What counselor can you trust in this “who did it” scenario?

Jump from generation tot generation in this awesome adventure. Life live in the Wild, Wild West, Swing into the 60’s, be hip with the hippies and go to England in the 20’s!

General Camp Information

Morning and afternoon snacks will be provided. Campers must bring their own nutritious lunch including a beverage. Campers are encouraged to bring refillable/reusable water bottles as well.

Camp activities will include both indoor & outdoor activities; planned activities may be modified depending on weather. Please have campers dress appropriately.

On Monday, Wednesday and Friday campers will be transported to the Healdsburg Swim Center at 360 Monte Vista Avenue (High school campus) for an afternoon of swimming and activities. Campers should bring a bathing suit and towel with them on these days. Pick-up at the end of the day will be at the swim center.

Parents/Guardians must complete a Participant Information Form - Camps which includes a Medical Release, Waiver and Emergency Information/Pick-Up Authorization prior to the first day of camp.

Camp registration can be done in person at the Community Center, 1557 Healdsburg Ave. Monday – Friday 9 am – 6 pm, by phone with a credit card or online. Click here to be taken to our web-based registration system.
