Healdsburg Jazz presents a free "Mini-Festival within the Festival", offering 10 days of activities including: daily live music featuring local Bay Area musicians, family-friendly events, interactive art projects for children, and much more. At the Jazz Village, you will also find jam sessions, festival musicians signing CDs, jazz DJs spinning records and talking about jazz history. The Jazz Village Campus provides a fun, interactive, music and art experience for children Pre-K through 5th grade. Jazz Village Campus workshops are designed by Music Is First musicians/educators who are highly experienced in teaching in public schools as well as being world-class artists, including some who come to perform at the Healdsburg Jazz Festival. Students will experience music and literacy performances (bi-lingual), hands-on music making, and other memorable learning opportunities.
Jazz Village is co-sponsored by the City of Healdsburg in partnership with Healdsburg Jazz Festival, Inc.
