ClimateMusic Project

Friday, April 3, 2020

The City of Healdsburg is honored to host a live performance by The ClimateMusic Project in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Earth Day. Combining the talents and expertise of visionary world-class scientists, composers, musicians, and The ClimateMusic Project enables the creation and staging of science-guided music and visual experiences to inspire people to engage actively on the issue of climate change. Attendees will experience two science-driven musical pieces followed by a panel of experts who will answer audience questions and discuss local, tangible solutions to climate change. The panel will include Dr. Bill Collins -- a lead author of the United Nations’ Fourth Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change Assessment, for which the IPCC was awarded the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize -- among other local experts on sustainability. A small reception featuring local organizations and light appetizers will conclude this thought-provoking evening.
