The Healdsburg City Council encourages residents to apply for positions on the following City Boards, Commissions, and Committees for appointment in December 2020.
PARKS & RECREATION COMMISSION
The Parks and Recreation Commission serves in an advisory capacity to the City Council and the Community Services Department on policies and programs pertaining to parks, recreation facilities, and programming.
The City Council of the City of Healdsburg is seeking applications from interested persons to fill two vacancies on the Parks and Recreation Commission. Applicants may reside outside the City limits of Healdsburg but must reside at a location that is within the boundaries of the Healdsburg Unified School District. Commissioners are required to attend one meeting per month, disclose economic interest as required by the Local Conflict of Interest Code and complete the required ethics training. All members of the Parks and Recreation Commission serve without compensation.
SENIOR CITIZEN ADVISORY COMMISSION
The Senior Citizen Advisory Commission advises the City Council and the Community Services Department on matters relating to policies and programs which serve senior citizens of the community.
The City Council of the City of Healdsburg is seeking applications from interested persons to fill three positions on the City of Healdsburg Senior Citizen Advisory Commission. Members of the Senior Citizen Advisory Commission are required to attend monthly meetings, reside within the City limits of Healdsburg and be fifty-five years of age or older at the time of appointment.
