About tonight’s music:
Tuesdays in the Plaza: Volker Strifler Band (Blues / Rock)
Tuesday, July 23, 2019
Come downtown on Tuesday nights from May 28-August 27, 2019 from 6pm-8pm for some live music in Plaza Park for the annual Tuesdays in the Plaza. Bring a blanket, a cozy chair, and enjoy some food from one of the many food vendors on-site. Don’t be shy, dancing is welcomed. This summer enjoy your Tuesday nights on the Plaza! The Tuesdays in the Plaza concerts are brought to you by the City of Healdsburg Community Services Department with the generous support of our community partners.
Volker Strifler’s creative style of Blues/Roots are innovative explorations into Rock, Jazz, and Latin rhythms, with several stops in New Orleans along the way! This German-born guitarist-singer plays with a perfect blend of fire and restraint along with the clarity of Duane Allman. The pace is fast, often frenetic, but the mixture of styles has the feel of controlled turbulence, drawing you into a whirlwind of tightly meshed crosscurrents. Most of all – the music is FUN!
This year’s Tuesdays in the Plaza would not be possible without the generous support of several great organizations and businesses who love providing live music to our community just as much as we do. A very special THANK YOU to:
