Fitch Mountain Forever Fundraiser

Sunday, October 13, 2019

The City of Healdsburg and the Fitch Mountain Forever Fund invite you to the Villa Chanticleer to show your support for beautiful Fitch Mountain. The afternoon will include a barbecue lunch, live music, a guided hike to the top of the mountain, children’s activities, fundraising auction, and celebration of the official transfer of the mountain to the City of Healdsburg. Fitch Mountain Forever Fundraiser is co-sponsored by the City of Healdsburg in partnership with the Fitch Mountain Forever Fund.

Fitch Mountain Fund invites you to join us and invest in our crown jewel at Fitch Mountain Forever Fundraiser & Hike on October 13th and celebrate the Fitch Mountain Park & Open Space Preserve! This fun event will include activities for the whole family, a BBQ by Ken Rochioli, live music featuring acclaimed fiddler Matthew Szemela, beer and wine, a small auction led by Senator Mike McGuire, and a hike!

We have so much to celebrate! The top 173 acres of Fitch Mountain is owned by all of us and it will forever be public land. This wouldn’t have happened without our community’s unwavering support.

The Fitch Mountain Fund was created to enable a strong and enduring partnership with the City of Healdsburg, to make sure that there are always funds to steward and protect our beloved natural resource. We couldn’t have gotten to where we are now without your support and we need it now more than ever. The work to preserve, protect and enhance this incredible natural resource has just begun. Wildlife protection, habitat enhancement, invasive species eradication and erosion control are annual tasks that will require organization, planning and funding.

Individual tickets are $25 and family tickets (family of 4) are $40. Kids 12 and under are free. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door. Sponsorship opportunities are also available.

The Fitch Mountain Fund is a component fund of Community Foundation Sonoma County.
