    To help prevent community members and City staff from contracting the 2019 novel coronavirus (COVID-19), the City is closing all City facilities to the public from March 17 - April 3. Vital City services will continue, including law enforcement; fire services; electric, water and waste water services; public communications; and building inspections.   2. ClimateMusic Project

    The City of Healdsburg is honored to host a live performance by The ClimateMusic Project in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Earth Day. Combining the talents and expertise of visionary world-class scientists, composers, musicians, and The ClimateMusic Project enables the creation and staging of science-guided music and visual experiences to inspire people to engage actively on the issue of climate change. Attendees will experience two science-driven musical pieces followed by a panel of experts who will answer audience questions and discuss local, tangible solutions to climate change. The panel will include Dr. Bill Collins -- a lead author of the United Nations’ Fourth Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change Assessment, for which the IPCC was awarded the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize -- among other local experts on sustainability. A small reception featuring local organizations and light appetizers will conclude this thought-provoking evening.

Public Works and Building inspections will be available on the closed Fridays. New Office Hours: Monday – Thursday 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Alternating Fridays – 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. This change enables the City to extend customer service hours for our community Monday through Thursday, reduce greenhouse gas production by eliminating a travel day for employees, and reduce utility and facility use costs by closing some facilities on the off day. INSPECTIONS Public Works and Building inspections will be performed Monday through Friday.
