The City of Healdsburg will be hosting a public open house to discuss reuse options for the Cerri Site (Purity Building) in downtown Healdsburg. The Cerri Site is located on North Street between Grove Street and Foss Street. The City purchased the property in the 2000's and City Council authorized funding to redevelop the property as part of the City's current Capital Improvement Program.
Two reuse options are being considered:
(1) Renovating and repurposing the existing structure (with parking), and
(2) Demolishing the existing building and redeveloping the site with a surface parking lot with shade structures.
Thursday's activities will include a self-guided tour of the building and site from 5pm-5:45pm at the site (9 North Street), followed by a presentation on the design options and question and answer at 6pm at the City Hall City Council Chambers.
