We know there are uncertain times ahead. Our Community Services department is seeking volunteers to serve on a community-based Services Advisory Team to help us learn what services the community needs during COVID-19 to support you, your family, and your friends.
The goal of the Services Advisory Team (SAT) is to get direct feedback from a cross-section of the community on what the needs might be this summer, into the upcoming school year, and beyond. We want to get input from parents, teens, single folks, our Latino community, older adults, and others. We will take this feedback – along with feedback from the City’s Parks and Recreation Commission and direction from City Council - to help prioritize our services during a time of limited financial resources.
We envision the Team meeting virtually either weekly or bi-weekly at a day and time that is yet to be determined. Meetings will last about an hour. Sabemos que hay tiempos inciertos hacia el futuro. Ayúdenos a aprender qué servicios se necesitan durante COVID-19 para apoyarlo a usted, a su familia y a sus amigos, ofreciéndose como voluntario para nuestro Equipo de Asesoramiento de Servicios de la comunidad.
El objetivo del Equipo de Asesoría para Servicios (SAT) es obtener comentarios directos de la comunidad sobre cuáles podrían ser sus necesidades este verano, en el próximo año escolar y en el futuro. Queremos obtener información de padres, adolescentes, personas solteras, nuestra comunidad Latina, adultos mayores y otros. Tomaremos estos comentarios, junto con los comentarios de la Comisión de Parques y Recreación de la Ciudad y la dirección del Consejo de la Cuidad, para ayudar a priorizar nuestros servicios durante un tiempo de recursos financieros limitados. Visualizamos que la reunión del equipo se lleve a cabo semanal o quincenalmente, el día y la hora están por determinarse. Las reuniones durarán alrededor de una hora.
