Neighbors Network - Neighbors Helping Neighbors
The City is here to help our community through the COVID-19 health emergency. If you need assistance getting food, essential supplies, or other help, we can work to match you with a volunteer who can assist you. If you are looking to volunteer to help someone in our community, let us know.
The City will help coordinate people in need - along with organizations looking for volunteers with individuals looking to help. Examples of services we can coordinate through this program include:
- Shopping and errands
- Pet care assistance
- Minor home maintenance
- Social interaction (walks, talking on the phone, etc.)
- Referrals for other volunteer needs in the community

DASH Volunteer Driver Program
On June 17 the City launched DASH - Drivers Assisting Seniors in Healdsburg, a volunteer driver program. The development of this program is the outcome of a survey of Healdsburg’s older adults that found transportation was the number one concern for remaining independent, valued, and vibrant members of our community. The program is funded through the City’s Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT) along with a Caltrans grant awarded to Sonoma County. For more information on how to ride - or to volunteer as a driver for the program - please visit the program page, email volunteer@cityofhealdsburg.org or call the DASH hotline at 707-431-3159.
